What is Covered Under Our Health Guarantee?
- Initial Veterinary Exam
We strongly recommend that you schedule a veterinary examination within 10 days of bringing your new Golden Retriever puppy home. If your vet finds that your puppy is clinically ill or has suffered an injury or illness that is likely to have occurred prior to you taking ownership, we offer the following options:
- Full Refund: Return the puppy for a full refund of the purchase price.
- Puppy Exchange: Exchange your puppy for one of equal value from our available litters.
- Reimbursement: Keep your puppy and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary expenses, up to the amount of the purchase price.
What is Not Covered?
- Routine Veterinary Care: This includes general care such as vaccinations, deworming, flea treatments, and annual check-ups.
- Injuries or Accidents: Any injuries, illnesses, or conditions caused by owner negligence, accidents, or inappropriate care after the puppy has been placed in your home are not covered under this guarantee.
- External Conditions: Any conditions or illnesses that are the result of environmental factors or improper care after the puppy leaves our kennel will not be covered.
State Law Considerations
- State-Specific Regulations: Health laws vary by state, and if your state has specific laws regarding the health guarantee period, those laws take precedence over our policy. We ensure that our health guarantee meets or exceeds the minimum requirements set by your state.
- 30-Day Health Guarantee Minimum: In states where health policies are not mandatory, we still provide a minimum 30-day health guarantee for all puppies.
